Just north of the border, at the first of the year, the top ropers in the country gather to honor one of the most respected ropers in history. At the Mike Cervi Jr. Memorial Pro Classic Team Roping, organizer George Aros assembles the freshest cattle, one of the longest scores, and a huge arena for this one day event. Starting out in the 80’s in Tubac AZ, the event has migrated to the Tucson arena to add a unique feel to this one of a kind event. With over 100 teams battling for one of the 15 callback spots the competition really heats up and brings us some of the most exciting runs of the year.
